ECO-STABLE

A horse stable with a south-facing double skin that generates energy and ensures indoor thermal comfort. The top part of the roof is lined with solar panels powering an off grid system for heating, lighting and charging all year round. Within the two layers there is a storage for hay, tools and horse equipment. The stalls and main gallery have a concrete floor, the dividers are lined with green pine tar painted wood. Rain water is collected and reused for cleaning floors and watering plants.
